John Ernest Frederick Gutzman's Legacy:

The ranch he established in Salmon has been sold multiple times and split up into multiple properties.

According to the "Centennial History of Lemhi County, Idaho", Ten Mile Creek has been renamed Gutzman Creek in his honor.

The original farmhouse still exists, though it has been modified. As of 2012, several of the fruit trees he planted still exist, including an old apricot tree at the back of the house.

His greatest legacy is his many decendents.
